Movie Time

Task Description: For today's task we had to work out the movie time.

A Thousand words

Te Reo Maori

Task Description: For this task I had to read the question's in Maori that were about the weather and had to answer the question's in Maori and for the last task we had to make up our own thing.

Leader's of the year seven step up and leader's from camp

•  Jezakaia: Jezakaia's highlight was when him and his dorm put all there bed's together and slept together.
• Arthur: Arthur's highlight was when we had the concert night at camp. 
• Sauma : Sauma's highlight was talking to new people and meeting new people.
• Mohammed: Mohammed's highlight was stepping up to be a leader when the year 8's were at camp.
• Zamera: She said her highlight was learning how to control a go kart.
• Caleb: Caleb's highlight was playing paintball.
• Bradley: Bradley's highlight was being a sub prefect.
• Nina: Nina's highlight was having a big feed with all the year seven's and some of the year eight's.
• Sione: Sione's highlight was all the boys going into his dorm and singing song's. 

Year 8 leadership camp

 On August the 5th the year 8's from Pt England School went to a camp in Theam's and it was called Kauaranga Valley Christian Camp for short it was KVCC. One of my favourite highlight's was when me and the boys were just chilling on the trampoline singing before we left the camp ground's. The reason why it was one of my favourite highlight is because how we all stepped out of our comfort zone and having a special time with the friend's.

Measuring Up

Task Description: For today's task we had to measure the two line's and find out which line was longer and found out that they were the same length. Then  we had to measure five other objects which were the door frame, door latch, number two sign, width of the desk and our hand span.

The 1,000,000 pound note

Task Description: For this task we had to read a story about the million pound note by Mark Twain

Sam Bacon Poster

Task Description: Today we found out that kiwi Sailor Sam Bacon is donating. Clothes to our school to help us prepare for camp. We are really grateful and would like to thank Mr Bacon.

Spaghetti Tower

Today in writing we had to do a task as a group. The task was that we had to build a tower out of spaghetti, tape and strings. Their were four group and we were all trying to make the tallest tower, at the end of the challenge my group won with the height of 96cm. Our plan was to computerate with each other and talk to each other, and after every-thing we named our tower the leaning tower of spaghetti.

The Dragon's Eye Lake Myth

Task Description: For today room two went to room three to learn about a myth from a city in Croatia which is called Rogoznica the name of the myth was the dragon's eye lake. it is a romantic myth of about how the dragon eye lake was formed in Croatia.

Task Description: For this task I had to make a poster about Cambodia.

Task Description: For today's task room 2 went to room 11 and learnt about a myth in Cambodia of how lightning, thunder and rain was made.

Task Description: For todays task we learned about the coffee on the blue mountain at Jamaica.

Task Description: Today for inquiry we learnt about Greek mythology. We learnt about the different Greek gods, the Greek creation story and about Hermies. When hermies was a baby he created fire and alyre ( a harp). See my story.
