Weaving harakeke

We made fish with flax. It was the hardest thing ever, but it was cool and fun.Then after that we took a picture then we start writing.

Trees

Trees supply oxygen to help us breathe. They provide homes for wildlife and shelter for 

Everything. trees help make the world more beautiful and we are lucky to have some amazing 

trees at pt England. 

From faraway macrocarpa look like monsters. They have long branches which swing around in the wind.

From close up, the tree lookd big. we took  a photo of the tree then we draw our own picture.

Matarik

Matariki is the name of a group of stars  that appears in the winter night sky. It mark the beginning of Maori New Years which is a time for people to celebrate.

There are lots of different ways to celebrate matariki. We share Kai for Maori new year with our friends and we sing song for Maori new year.

Kiwisports

Every Morning on Monday we go to kiwisports our coach is name coach vinnie. Coach vinnie is the best coach. Coach shanice is very kind and cool.

When we go, we play a lot of games it was very cool. We play Octopus. it was good fun

Morning walk

This morning we went for a walk.we were walking on the grass which was wet and frosty. The Grass looked white and frozen. 

Then we heard a tui singing a song on top of the tree it was a cool song. I felt happy because the tui is song that was a cool day. I really loved the tui. 

Then room 14 walked  back to our classroom that was the end.
