Start of term 4

Walt: use correct sentences to help structure our writing.

The holidays are over and it's time for school.It is time for term 4 and our theme about this term is art. We are going to learn about what is art.

I am so exciting for this term because of athletics. I also have year 6 camp out at khawa island.

At the end of this term we are going to be having a school prize giving. We also have film festival where our school share movie they've made with there teacher.

This term my goal is to try and listen more and not talk. My 2nd goal is to improve my maths and make the right choices. My 3rd goal is try go sleep early and not late

This term I want to learn about painting.I also want to learn about what is sketching. I would like to learn about some of the most famous painter in the world. I also want to improve my reading and writing.

I think term 4 is going to be fun because there is lots of fun things happening like camp and athletics. We also are going to learn about painting and lots of art. But the thing i'm looking forward to is film festival.

Task Description:

For this task we wrote about what this term is about and our goals for this term. We also learned how to write a proper conclusion. when i wrote this it was hard for me to think about what was coming up this term.

Kiwi kaper

On Wednesday the 22nd of november we went to the Orchestra. It was in the city where the Sky Tower is.

There was an orchestra playing music and people acting out the song and in the middle of the acting there was a lady on a very big umbrella. It  looked cool because there was a lady running away from a bad lady with hula hoops. The lady with the hula hoops was doing some tricks. My favourite part of the orchestra was the man in the ring. because he was spinning in the ring without falling. He was tall and he had long hair.

Then after the orchestra we did not do any work all we did was cool maths games. We only did a little bit of work and  the rest of the days that the year 6s were gone to camp we did cool maths games.

Paschal Immersion Assembly Writing

On Monday  16th of october we came back to school from the holidays. We all went to the hall for an assembly.  This term the topic  is musical madness. Mr Burt, Mrs Nua, Mr Jacobson, Mr Somerville and Mr Wiseman were playing  a song when all the classes were in the hall. Mr Jacobson was playing a trumpet. Mr burt was playing his guitar. Mr Somerville was playing the drums. Mrs Mua was singing and mr wiseman was playing the bass. Team 1 were playing songs about how they feel. Team 2 was making their own instruments. Team 3 was telling stories with music by using their favourite songs and Team 5 did songs in movie that were scary and funny. This term team 4’s is looking at making songs and making their rides fun with some cool songs. We are also looking at making instruments.   I would like to learn about why people make songs and how eminem became the rap god. Also I want to learn how people rap so fast just like eminem. I am so excited for term 4 because the topic sounds so fun.

On Wednesday the 9th of November Pt England went on the bus to Sylvia park Hoyts.We went because  to which pt england movie's.My best one that I saw was my movie.All of the movie had to be 3 min’s so if all a movie was over 3 min’s  will have to cut the movie so it could be a little movie.

MY favourite movie was room 11 and 12.Because there one was about the Olympic.
